Narasimha

Narasimha is one of the twelve ancient Devas who imparted knowledge unto the fledgeling humanity one thousand years ago. Narasimha stands out among the Devas for his peculiar teachings. While most of the other Devas (all except Sphinx) claimed to be gods, potent and absolute beings who constituted the fabric of reality, Narasimha taught that there was some higher power, something that even the Devas did not create, something that, in his own words, the Devas “answer to.” (That he admitted this made him somewhat unpopular among the other Devas.) Many scholars have debated Narasimha’s words, and many religions have arisen from the premise that Narasimha presented. Narasimha takes the form of a lion.
